The automobile named Elfa showcased the critical automotive components made by the Sona group. Speaking about Elfa Sona which stands for Elements of Future Automobiles, Sunjay Kapur, Chairman, Sono Koyo Steering Systems Limited said, “This vehicle displays proprietary parts like Electronic Power Steering and Electric Axles designed, developed and validated by Sona Group in-house on a turnkey basis. It showcases the revolutionary technology of Electric Power Assist which will be a common feature in the automobiles of the future. Making headway to ADAS – Autonomous Driving Assisting Systems, the vehicles of the future will have more and more parts having electronics at play including advanced sensors. We at Sona Group are aggressively working towards creating technologies and products being capable of fueling remote driving systems of the future. This demonstrator car gives a glimpse into the future of autonomous driving equipped with a variety of components ranging from Steering Systems to Drive Line components developed by Sona Group.”
