Apollo Tyres in collaboration with
Manchester United Football Club from Manchester, UK have launched their limited
edition signature Manchester United tyre in India.
The Manchester United tyre will be
available in 15inch rim size only with a performance centric tread pattern
designed for superior handling in wet and dry conditions, shorter braking
distance and low noise. The old Trafford based football club signature tyre has
been tested by agencies such as IDIADA from Spain and Papenburg from Germany to
deliver precise response to any unexpected steering corrections, providing
maximum driving safety. The compound has been developed by Apollo Tyres at
their Global R&D Centre in Enshede, The Netherlands to ensure maximum
traction on wet and dry surfaces.
The tyre launch was in cohesion with the
Apollo “Go the Distance” scholarship programme in the presence of Mikael
Silvestre, Former Man United and French International Defender, Marco
Paracciani, Chief Marketing Officer and Satish Sharma, President Asia Pacific,
Middle East and Africa, Apollo Tyres.
