At the Hillhead mining show to be held from June 24 to 26, 2014 in England, lighting major Hella will be showcasing some latest lights for the sector that would include work lights, beacons and accessories for mining vehicles. Hillhead is the largest trade fair for quarrying, construction machinery and recycling.For Hella, the main focus will be on LED lighting. The company will be showcasing the powerful AS 5000 LED work light, which was developed especially for use on mining vehicles. This work light is equipped with 24 high-performance LEDs. The brightness emitted by the headlamp ensures safe working at the mines. The power consumption of this work light is only 60 watts while it delivers a luminous efficiency of 5000 Lumens. This energy-efficient light is equipped with a dimmer / dip function which ensures that other vehicle drivers do not get dazzled. The PTFE coating and a heavy-duty mounting bracket also ensure that the LED work light copes with the harsh conditions underground. The light is also designed for extreme temperatures (-40°C to +50°C)..Another product that would be highlighted will be the Power Beam 3000 LED work light that comes with shock-resistant lens made of a special polymer material.
