The Polaris ambulance is developed by Bafna Healthcare Pvt. Limited on Ranger 6X6 800 and unveiled at the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) event at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. “The Ranger 6x6 800 modified ambulances are built with unmatched traction and capacity and have six wheels drives available on demand with simple switch. This is the ideal vehicle to move heavy loads over the harshest terrain. With an engine capacity of 760cc, this vehicle is perfect to manoeuvre on treacherous terrains as well as narrow strips, to supply medical help and assistance to places of difficulty,” Polaris India said in a statement. Pankaj Dubey, MD, Polaris India said, “Polaris off-road ambulances are apt for supplying medical supervision in rural India and calamity stuck regions, as they are capable of clearing highways/roads, or handling fire in narrow streets. The event is an opportunity for us to showcase the range of Polaris ATVs’ & ORVs’ unmatched versatility and stability in demanding conditions. Polaris vehicles are designed with inherent off-road capabilities and are tested under extreme conditions.”
