Bajaj Auto, a leading Indian manufacturer of motorcycles and commercial three-wheelers, recorded a fall of (-) 55 per cent in sales in domestic sales of its two wheelers from 220213 in March 2019 to 98412 units in March 2020.

But exports saw a 9 per cent surge with sales of 112564 units in March 2020 as compared to 103325 units in March 2019. Thus overall two wheeler sales fell by (-) 35 per cent to 210976 units in March 2020 as compared to 323538 units in March 2019.
But for the entire fiscal 2019-20, the company only saw an overall sales drop of (-) 7 per cent at 3947568 units as compared to 4,236,873 in the previous fiscal.
