Benelli, a leading worldwide manufacturer of premium bikes and Adishwar Auto Ride India – Mahavir Group, announced that Benelli India has shut down all operations at its manufacturing and assembly plant based out of Hyderabad, with immediate effect until March 31, 2020.
The company stated that it is in compliance with the rules and regulations laid down by the government authorities to fight COVID-19. The company has been monitoring the situation closely and ensured that necessary measures were taken on premises, keeping in mind the safety of its employees. “However, employees from other departments will continue to work from home,” stated the company in a press release.
Vikas Jhabakh, Director – Mahavir Group, spearheads Benelli’s operations in India through Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), a partner of Mahavir Group, one of the leading automobile dealers in the country. AARI is the exclusive partner by Benelli, to distribute Benelli’s premium product range in the country. The company has setup an assembly plant for Benelli in Hyderabad. The company manufactures and imports range of Benelli bikes from Italy & South East Asia regions.
