Leading two wheeler maker in India and one of the largest exporters of two wheelers in the country, Bajaj Auto recorded a slump of (-)22pc in total sales in September 2019.
Total sales of motorcycles stood at 336730 units in September 2019 as compared to 430939 units in Sept 2018. Domestic sales of motorcycles were hit bad with a slump of (-) 35 per cent at 177348 (273029). Exports of motorcycles were at 159382 units (157910) in the corresponding period.
