The Federation of Indian Automobile Dealer Associations (FADA) at its 2ndAuto Retail Conclave expounded the support of the Ministry of Road Transport, Government of India, in achieving transparency in vehicle registration across the segment and in different states, giving a clearer picture of the retail sales figures.
FADA reiterated the need of the whole automotive industry to move to market share, by way of legislation which is accepted internationally and for the betterment of industry. Additionally, FADA expects the latest government measures to take effect soon and reverse the ongoing slowdown.
FADA’s 2ndAuto Retail Conclave was inaugurated on September 4, 2019 and it saw not just participation of presidents of industry bodies like SIAM,ACMA, FADA and the Australian Dealers Association, but also participation of dealers from some of the farthest corners of the country - like Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Sikkim, Manipur and Nagaland. The conclave also witnessed the unveiling of the CMVR Act, by the Presidents of all the three associations –SIAM, ACMA& FADA.
