Utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra recorded a negative growth of 15 per cent in sales for July 2019 for its passenger vehicles division which comprises utility vehicles, cars and vans. The company sold 16831 units in July 2019 as compared to 19781 units in July 2018.
Commercial vehicles sales too dipped by (-)17 per cent at 15969 units (19284) in July 2019. The July 2019 sales of Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles stood at 417 units as compared to 866 units, thereby recording a (-) 52 per cent drop. Exports overall grew by 3 per cent with 2668 units sold.
