Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT), India’s leading manufacturer of off-highway tyre has announced that its Chairman & Managing Director Arvind Poddar has been inducted in the 2018 Tyre Industry Hall of Fame instituted by the Tire Industry Association (TIA).
Awarded in recognition of his significant impact made within the tyre industry, this honour was conferred to him at an award ceremony held on October 29, 2018 at Paris Las Vegas Hotel in USA.
TIA’s Hall of Fame Award is the highest honour any individual in the entire tyre industry can achieve. The award is given to honour, preserve and perpetuate the names and outstanding accomplishments of those who have contributed greatly to the growth and development of the tire industry. Induction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honour from TIA and it is conferred on an annual basis to discerning leaders in the tyre industry.
