Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India has resigned from the company. Sumbly had been with the company for the last five years since its inception.
Shoeb Farooq, Head Sales & Dealer Development has been promoted to take on this role with immediate effect. Shoeb has been with Triumph Motorcycles India since its inception five years back and has been instrumental in expanding the business in India.

Triumph, is the second largest premium motorcycle brand in the country with over 5000 customers. We are confident that Shoeb, who has been part of this journey in India over the last five years, is well-poised to further strengthen the brand in India.”
Sumbly and his team were responsible for the growth of Triumph Motorcycles in India. Several training and adventure sessions were organised by the British motorcycle brand in India and Sumbly was always there to encourage the participants in such sessions. Under his leadership, the company sold more than 4000 motorcycles in India, a majority of them being Tiger adventure motorcycles.
Before joining Triumph Motorcycle India, Sumbly worked at Bajaj Auto for almost eight years.
