Lumax Industries Limited, a leader in end-to-end automotive lighting solutions in India, has announced the appointment of D.K. Jain as Chairman Emeritus and Chief Mentor to the Board, with effect from April 1, 2018.
Deepak Jain, Managing Director of the company, has been elevated to the position of the Chairman as well of the Board from April 1, 2018. Lumax Industries has also announced the elevation of Vineet Sahni, as CEO & Senior Executive Director of the Company. Sahni was earlier the Chief Executive Officer.
With over 50 years in operations and administrative roles, DK Jain was earlier the Chairman of the Board. He will continue to guide and support the Company to ensure continuous growth and expansion in future and will also pursue his philanthropic interests. A pioneer of the Indian automotive industry, D.K. Jain is an MBA from Delhi University and a Harvard Business School Alumni.
Deepak Jain has held several reputed positions in the industry as the Regional Chairman, Northern Region, ACMA, Chairman of ACMA’s HR/IR & Skill Development Committee, Chairman of Sustainable Technology Development Committee of ACMA, National Coordinator of Young Business Leader Forum of ACMA, President of Supplier’s club, Honda Cars India Limited, & Vice President of Toyota Kirloskar Supplier’s Association. He is also Member of Young President Organisation and Entrepreneurs’’ Organisation.
