Royal Enfield, the makers of different kinds of motorcycles like the Continental GT, cruisers like the Thunderbird 350 and 500, a range of Classic and Bullet motorcycles and the Himalayan, has posted a strong sales of 66,968 motorcycles in the month of December 2017, closing the calendar year by recording a growth of 16% over the same period last year.
In the domestic market, the company sold 65,367 units in December 2017, as compared to 56,316 units in December 2016. Around 1601 units were exported during the month.
