Tata Motors has rolled out its 10,000th Nexon from the Ranjangaon facility in the state of Maharashtra in western India. The Nexon which is the company’s fourth iteration of the Impact design philosophy, is a Lifestyle compact SUV, targeted at the young at heart. The Nexon comes equipped with Level NEX Design, Performance and Technology.

Tata Motors had launched the Nexon SUV recently at a starting price of Rs. 5,85,000 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the petrol variant and Rs. 6,85,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel version. The Nexon is Tata's first product in the compact SUV space and takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport and Renault Duster.
The Nexon has been designed with on the lines of Tata's new impact design philosophy which can be seen on the Tiago, Hexa and Tigor. The Nexon was launched with two powertrain options - a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel both will come with a 6-speed manual transmission.
