Effective October 1, 2017, Arun Malhotra, current Managing Director, NMIPL, has been appointed Corporate Advisor, NMIPL. He will report to Peyman Kargar, Chairman of Nissan’s Africa, Middle East and India (AMI) region and interim president of Nissan India Operations, and to Thomas Kuehl, who takes over as President of Nissan India Operations from October 1, 2017.
Kuehl will be based in the headquarters of Nissan India Motors Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram and report directly to Peyman Kargar.
Jerome Saigot, currently Vice President, Marketing and Datsun Business Unit, NMIPL, will now be responsible for Sales and Marketing, NMIPL, for both Nissan and Datsun brands. Saigot will report to Thomas Kuehl and will continue to be based at NMIPL’s office in Gurugram.
Peter Clissold, currently General Manager, Marketing, AMI, will take up the role of Vice President, Marketing, NMIPL, with responsibility for both the Nissan and Datsun brands in India. Clissold will be based at NMIPL’s office in Gurgaon, and will report to Jerome Saigot.
