Cumulative sales for the Baleno, Maruti Suzuki India Limited's (MSIL) premium hatchback have crossed the one lakh mark on October 4, 2016, nearly a year after its launch back in October, 2015. The company recorded a 31.1pc growth September 2016 over the previous year's figures, while the Baleno remains a top selling model of the company.
Apart from domestic sales, 33,800 Baleno cars were exported globally, including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America and parts of Europe, the company also plans to export the Baleno to nearly a 100 international markets in the time to come. The Baleno hatchback has gained its popularity in the market as a premium hatchback with a fresh design philosophy and ample of convenient and handy features. MSIL is offering the Baleno hatchback exclusively through NEXA outlets, which is in line with the company's new premium retail experience.
