German stalwart Audi, added a new 35 TDI diesel variant to its A4 sedan portfolio, further increasing its presence in the Indian market. The A4 has been immensely successful in India and offers consumers a rich blend of features, comfort and performance. Audi has also managed to re-engineer the new A4 to deliver 7pc more power and economy. Audi is offering the new A4 35 TDI for Rs. 40,20,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The 2.0 litre TDI engine now delivers a maximum power of 190hp and peak torque of 400Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed S Tronic transmission which enables the vehicle to return 18.25kms to a litre. Audi is also offering their Virtual cockpit setup along with smart phone integration on the new A4. The new A4 is 120kgs lighter than its predecessor. The new A4 features different drive modes -- Comfort, Auto, Dynamic and Individual.
The new Audi A4 35 TDI gets a top speed of 237kmph and can go from standstill to 100kmph in 7.7 seconds. In terms of safety the sedan has been equipped with 8 airbags, ABS and EBD, it also gets Audi's Parking Aid Plus and a rear view camera. The new A4 features a three zone climate control alongside a host of features and connectivity options adding to the comfort and convenience this sedan has to offer.
