General Motors and just announced the launch of their new Chevrolet Enjoy MPV. The new Enjoy will be priced between Rs. 6.25 lakh to Rs.8.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Enjoy is available with a maximum of 8 seats and the new three-spoke steering wheel with the golden Chevrolet bowtie and silver accents. The Enjoy’s new steering wheel also features audio control buttons with added chrome bits around the air vents, gear knob and the dashboard in addition to a glossy black finished door armrests.
Arvind Saxena, President and MD, GM India said; “The Chevrolet Enjoy continues to be the most value-for-money proposition in the compact MPV segment. With a host of refreshing new changes including a brand new three-spoke sporty steering wheel with audio controls, the new Chevrolet Enjoy is even more upmarket and appealing thereby addressing the dual needs for family travel and business use,”
The interior also gets more premium dual tone leatherette and fabric upholstery for 7 or 8 seat configurations. The exterior of the car hasn’t been touched apart from a chrome rear strip above the number plate as standard and a blackened B-pillar.
The new Enjoy will be available in Velvet red, Switchblade Silver, Summit White, Caviar Black, Linen Beige and Sandrift Grey.
The engine remains the same, 1.3-litre diesel and the 1.4-litre petrol producing 74 and 100bhp respectively. Other mechanical elements like the McPerson Strut front and five-link rear suspension remain untouched.
The 7 or 8 seating configuration will be available in all trims, the LS, LT and LTZ variants with the option of selecting variants with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Dual Front Air Bags, Rear Park Assist, Rear Window Defogger, Rear Wash and Wipe System, Rear Door Child Locks, Central Door Locking, Speed-Sensitive Auto Door Locks, and a Remote Key Locking & Un-locking System with an Electronic Anti-theft System along with the car identification function.
