More than a year after Ajinkya Firodia of Pune based Kinetic Group inked a strategic alliance with motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta of Italy to form MV Agusta India Pvt. Ltd, the company has once again announced that it is entering into a "historic collaboration" with British motorcycle marque Norton Motorcycle Company. The official announcement will be made on November 15, 2017.

Italian bike major MV Agusta is known for making the world’s most premium high-performance superbikes. The bikes are currently being marketed through exclusive ‘Motoroyale’ showrooms in the country.
Norton currently manufactures motorcycles like the V4 RR, Dominator, Commando 961 Cafe Racer MKII and the Commando 961 Sport MKII. Recently it launched the new Norton Commando 961 California. The motorcycle comes with ABS Brembo brakes, Ohlins suspension and the hand-made Norton chassis.
Norton was founded in 1898 by James Lansdowne Norton and the first Norton motorcycles were being produced using French and Swiss engines in 1902. The Norton motorcycles have gone on to win several races like the Isle of Man TT.
